Labor Day is a time for the common man to stretch back in his recliner, wrapped aristocratically in his smoking jacket, and shotgun some Busch Light. But the proletariat aren’t the only ones who like to kick back on this glorious time of “not having to work quite as long”.
It would appear that when you are a Jacksonville Jaguar, you learn how to party as well. At least if you think that Jimmy Smith and Fred Taylor, who were both arrested over the past 24 hours, are pretty recognizable members of the J-ville franchise.
Taylor’s circumstances are less damning in that he wasn’t driving:
He was instead released outside of Club Cristal on Fifth Street on his own recognizance with a promise to appear in court.
The exact circumstances leading to Taylor’s arrest weren’t known on Sunday. The Miami Beach Police Department’s records division, which provides police reports, is closed until Tuesday for the Labor Day weekend.
