Bengals activate troubled WR Henry
CINCINNATI (AP) - Receiver Chris Henry was activated Saturday by the Cincinnati Bengals, setting up a possible matchup with Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, a former college teammate who has been in even more trouble.

The Bengals released running back Kenny Watson to open a roster spot for Henry. Watson sat out a 20-12 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday with a hamstring injury suffered during practice the previous week.

The move left the Bengals thin at running back. They signed free agent Cedric Benson to a one-year deal on Tuesday to back up Chris Perry. DeDe Dorsey went on injured reserve this week with a hamstring injury.

Henry was released by the Bengals (0-4) following his fifth arrest in the offseason. Owner Mike Brown took him back over the objections of coach Marvin Lewis, who had no interest in the troubled receiver.

Henry missed the first four games of the season because of his latest suspension for violating the NFL's conduct policy. Henry also was suspended for the first eight games last season.

The Bengals could have waited until Monday to add Henry to the roster, but he looked good enough in practice this week to prompt the move. On Sunday in Dallas, he could be guarded by Jones, a former teammate at West Virginia who also has been in trouble repeatedly.

Both players were drafted in 2005. Jones, taken in the first round by Tennessee, was acquired by Dallas last April. The cornerback has been arrested six times and has been involved in a dozen incidents requiring police intervention. The NFL suspended him for all of last season.
