--Five Bengals will participate this year's NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program. -- S Corey Lynch, QB Jordan Palmer, LB Corey Mays, S Chinedum Ndukwe and TE Nate Lawrie.
--Since averaging a career best 44.5 yards per punt in 2006, Kyle Larson's average has dropped by nearly five yards, including this year's league-worst 39.5. He will have some competition in training camp as Ryan Plackemeier was claimed off waivers from the Redskins.
--Stacy Andrews, who was rehabbing his injured right knee with the team, has switched his rehab to the University of Cincinnati. One reason is the team and Andrews still have not agreed to a new contract.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "With the talent we had, if Carson (Palmer) doesn't get hurt in 2005 in the playoffs, I think we go to the Super Bowl. We make a field goal against Pittsburgh (in '06), it changes the whole course of your team. Once we missed that, everything began to turn for the worst." -- T.J. Houshmandzadeh on the last four years with the Bengals.
