--Dhani Jones sees the taping of his new show "Dhani Tackles the Globe" as offseason training. The 10-week series premieres Monday on the Travel Channel and includes such sports as muay thai fighting, dragon boat racing and rugby.


"I like travel and sports, and this is a nice balance between the two," Jones said. "And all of it aids in me becoming a better athlete."

--The Bengals will have the sixth pick in every round of next month's draft. There is the possibility that they may receive compensatory picks later this month at the league meetings.

--The Bengals will mark the eighth team in J.T. O'Sullivan's eight-year career. O'Sullivan, who signed March 6, began his career in New Orleans in 2002 and since then has gone to Green Bay, Minnesota, New England, Carolina, Detroit and San Francisco.

--Safety Dexter Jackson, who was named the Super Bowl XXXVII MVP with Tampa Bay, was released by the Bengals on Friday. His release was not a surprise, considering the team re-signed Chris Crocker.

With Jackson's release, the Bengals player and alternate rep are both off the team. T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who is the team's player rep, signed with Seattle. Both players will remain as player reps until the start of the training camp, when new ones will be selected.
