--The Bengals are 9-2 (.818) in their last 11 home games against NFC teams. Ten of the games (8-2) have been played under head coach Marvin Lewis. The 9-2 run began with a 20-13 win over New Orleans on Dec. 22, 2002.
--Other Bengals home victories against the NFC since 2002 have come against Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, the Giants, Minnesota, Green Bay, Carolina and St. Louis. The Bengals have lost at home to Atlanta and Arizona.
--Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has competed against 30 different teams during his career. The only club he has not played against is the Eagles, and that won't change this week as Palmer continues to rest his sore right elbow. Before this season, Palmer had only one injury that caused him to miss games. That was a knee strain suffered Dec. 12, 2004 at New England. That injury caused him to miss the final three
games of the 2004 season, including the last Bengals-Eagles meeting.
--Bengals wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco needs four receptions against Philadelphia to become the only player to reach the 600 mark for a Cincinnati career. Ocho Cinco has had five or more catches in each of the last four games.
--Ocho Cinco and T.J. Houshmandzadeh rank first and third, respectively, in Bengals all-time receptions. Ocho Cinco rose to the 596 mark with five against Jacksonville on Nov. 2, and Houshmandzadeh is at 476 after a seven-catch game against the Jaguars.
--RB Cedric Benson became the 20th Bengals tailback in franchise history to rush for 100 yards in a game. Corey Dillon is the franchise leader with 28 100-yard games.
--Nine other Bengals players were fined either $2,500 or $5,000 for "entering the fight area" during the skirmish between Bengals guard Andrew Whitworth and Jacksonville defensive tackle John Henderson. The other nine were offensive players on the field at the time; only quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was not fined. Left tackle Levi Jones said he was fined $5,000. Wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco said he was fined $2,500, his first fine of the season.
BY THE NUMBERS: 29-5, 5-29 -- The Bengals are 29-5 in regular-season play under head coach Marvin Lewis when they have a plus turnover differential. They are 5-29 when they have a minus differential under Lewis. They are 9-12 when the differential is even.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I think in a way we've called ourselves out. We've been saying all year that we want to get some momentum and that we'd be able to play well if we got some momentum and I think we got some momentum in that last win. We played the way we wanted to play physically and athletically so this is a chance for us to prove what we've said all year." -- LG Andrew Whitworth, whose fight with Jaguars DT John Henderson has appeared to promote team unity.
